Aintree Building
Inspections

Terms and conditions

Quotes

Online estimates rely on the details you provide. If the property proves to be materially different regarding dimensions, levels, access or scope, we will contact you to verify any price change before the inspection occurs.

Bookings and access

You must arrange safe access to the property at the agreed time, including obtaining the builder's or agent's consent if needed. If access is unavailable when the inspector arrives, a call-out fee might apply.

Scope of inspections

Each inspection involves a visual, non-invasive assessment of areas that are safely accessible on the day. The inspection adheres to the relevant Australian Standard, as listed on the service page used to book. Any concealed, inaccessible or obstructed areas are excluded and noted in the report.

Reports

Reports are prepared for the person who paid for the inspection and show the property's condition at that moment. They do not provide a warranty or guarantee against future problems. You must not use these reports if you did not commission the inspection, and written permission is required before anyone else can rely on them.

Payment

Payment must be made before the report is issued, unless an alternative arrangement is made in writing. The fees listed cover the Goods and Services Tax.

Cancellations

You can cancel or reschedule without charge provided you give at least 24 hours' notice. If you cancel later than this, a fee covering the inspector's time may apply.

Liability

Our liability for any claim arising from an inspection or report is limited to the fee paid for that service. This exclusion does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
